A PDA is a portable device that can completely replace your desktop computer wherever you are. With it, you can work with web pages and electronic documents, listen to music and watch videos.
Instructions
Step 1
Set up the device to be able to comfortably watch video on a PDA. To do this, it must be "accelerated". Use special utilities that allow you to switch the processor and system bus frequencies. It is recommended to set the highest possible frequency, for example, switching from fifty to one hundred megahertz will give a performance increase of 20%.
Step 2
Convert the video file to a format suitable for watching a movie on a PDA. The standard display resolution of the device is 320 by 240 pixels, so you won't be able to watch high-resolution videos on it. Prepare your footage using the standard Movie Maker application.
Step 3
If your PDA runs on Symbian OS, you can use Nokia Video Manager. It is designed to transfer video files between a PDA and a computer, with its help you can convert files to a format optimized for mobile devices.
Step 4
Use Pocket-DVD Studio utility to convert DVD to formats suitable for video playback on PDA. With its help, you can also set up audio encoding, frame rate, set the maximum size of the resulting video file. Copy the resulting file to your device to watch the video on your PDA.
Step 5
Start viewing the file. To do this, you can use Windows Media Player, which allows you to listen to music and watch videos on your PDA. You can also sync content with a stationary PC.
Step 6
Also use other programs such as The Core Pocket Media Player or PocketMVP. The latter application has support for a large number of devices, as well as video formats. In addition, it has a playlist editor, skins, built-in equalizer and a variety of playback modes.
