The video surveillance system allows you to remotely view the current state of a remote room. It consists of a camera, protective cap, cable, monitor and power supply.

Instructions

Step 1

Make sure the ceiling where the camera is to be installed is plasterboard. Disassemble the protective cap by separating the bottom from it. Press the bottom against the ceiling with the side opposite to which the cover is attached. Screw it securely to the ceiling using a screwdriver and the required number of self-tapping screws.

Step 2

If the ceiling consists of removable slabs, remove one of them. Insert the first drill into the screwdriver and drill a hole in the plate for the cables. Then install the bottom of the hood on the plate in the same way, aligning the center hole in it with the hole in the plate.

Step 3

Use the hardware supplied with the hood or camera to secure the camera to it. At the same time, unfold it in the desired direction along each of the two coordinates.

Step 4

Route the cable from the camera to the installation location of the power supply and monitor. It should consist of two twisted pairs, the wires of which are color coded. Use a cable duct or run it over a ceiling made of removable panels. Pull the cable through the hole in the removable plate or into the side hole in the bottom of the hood.

Step 5

Connect one twisted pair cable between the common wire of the camera and its power input. Connect the other between the common wire of the camera and its video output. For this, use the terminal block included in the bottom of the hood. Write down which colors of wires are connected where.

Step 6

Cover the camera with the dome cover so that the transparent area on it matches the lens.

Step 7

At the monitor installation site, respecting the polarity, connect the cable that supplies power to the camera with a stabilized power supply with an output voltage of 12 V. Connect the common wire of the camera to the negative terminal of the unit, and the opposite conductor to the positive terminal.

Step 8

Take the second twisted pair and RCA plug. Connect the conductor connected to the common wire of the camera to the ring contact of the plug, and the one through which the video signal is supplied to the pin.

Step 9

Connect the plug to the monitor input. Plug in the monitor and power supply.

Step 10

Make sure there is an image. Correct the position of the camera if necessary.
