Step 1
Via computer
Find a suitable electronic library, download the book in epub format. Most often, when downloading, the browser notifies that this file type is not supported on the computer. But this is not necessary. After downloading the book, connect your iPad to your computer, sync it in iTunes. Drag the epub book into the program window. It will appear in your iPad in the "books" folder. Usually, books downloaded in this way have the same name as the file, and they also do not have a cover. But for reading this is not always necessary.
Step 2
Via the iPad browser
The sequence of actions is no different from the one that needs to be performed when downloading via a computer, only the final file does not need to be dragged anywhere. It will appear in the "downloads" folder, from where you just need to open it with the "reader". Some sites offer to immediately open the file in epub format on the device, offering several reading programs at once (if they are, of course).
Step 3
Via the free iBooks app
You just need to open the application, click on the "library" tab. You will be presented with a huge selection of books, which are mostly written in English. But if you search, you can always find Russian-language files. The iBooks library is constantly being updated. An internet connection is required to add books.
Step 4
Through the free Stanza app
This iOS application contains a large Russian-language library, where you can easily find the desired book by category, title, genre, author. The only drawback is that the books are mostly classic. That is, you will not find new products here. But this can be fixed by adding other libraries in the application settings. Go to the "general" tab, click the "edit" button, then "add source". In the field, write down the Internet address of the resource from where you usually download books. After clicking the "Finish" button, the application will display all the books that are in the libraries. To have offline access to a specific book, you need to load it with the appropriate key.
Step 5
Buy through catalog
To do this, go to the AppStore, go to the "books" tab, browse the ones on sale, select the appropriate one. Then just pay for your purchase and download the book to iPad. You can open it with any installed application. At the same time, you can access the book not only from your tablet, but also from a phone, computer or laptop of the Apple family.
