Downloading movies to iPad can be done using iTunes, which synchronizes data from the device to the computer. Initially, the program supports importing files in M4V format. To download video files with a different extension, you may need to install additional applications to your device.

Instructions
Step 1
To sync and send a movie via iTunes, you need to connect your tablet to your computer using a cable or wireless sync over a Wi-Fi connection.
Step 2
If iTunes is not installed on your computer, download the latest version of the application from the official Apple website using the appropriate section. Then run the resulting file and follow the instructions on the screen to install the program. Then connect your tablet to your computer using a sync cable.
Step 3
Movies to be transferred to iPad must be in the M4V format, which is used by all Apple devices. Open your MP4 movie folder on your computer. Also open an iTunes window to sync your files.
Step 4
Go to the "Media Library" - "Videos" section. With the left mouse button, hold down the movie file that you want to transfer to your device. Wait until the copy operation is completed and the video icon appears in the iTunes window. You can also transfer multiple videos at once that you want to play on your tablet.

After completing the operation of adding a movie to the "Library", click on the iPad icon located in the upper right corner of the program. After that, go to the "Videos" ("Movies") tab and check the boxes on the videos that you just imported from the folder into the program. After completing the selection, click on the "Synchronize" button and wait until the end of adding movies to the device.

Once the copy is complete, you can disconnect your iPad from your computer and go to the tablet's Video menu to check the copy results.

To copy movies in formats other than M4V (eg AVI, MP4, MKV), you will need to install additional tablet software. Go to the AppStore or iTunes Store.

After that, go to the "Music and Video" section of the list of applications or enter the query "Video Player" in the program window. Choose the most suitable program for video playback from those offered on the screen. After that, install the selected application by clicking on the "Install" button.

After completing the installation, connect your iPad to your computer. Click on the iPad button in the upper right corner and go to the Applications section. In the list of applications, click on the name of the newly installed player, and then transfer the movie files from the system to the “Add” list, having previously opened the corresponding directories in the system. Once the import process is complete, click Sync to apply the changes and finish copying the movies.
