When using a cell phone, you may encounter three types of protection: blocking for a cellular operator, blocking a SIM card, and also blocking a device. In each of these cases, a password is required. In order to remove it, use one of the simplest methods.
Instructions
Step 1
SIM card lock is designed to protect the personal data of the owner of the phone contained on the SIM card. This type of protection does not block the phone itself, but makes it impossible to use a SIM card without entering a special pin code. To remove it, change the phone settings. You can find the pin code on the package of the SIM card. If you have already entered it incorrectly, then you should enter the pack code, which is also located on the package from the SIM card. If this method does not suit you, you need to contact the representative office of the operator with whom you have a contract. Provide a passport confirming your right to own a SIM card, after which you can exchange it for a new one while maintaining the number and balance.
Step 2
If the phone is locked under the operator, its use in a network other than the original is not possible. When you turn on the phone with a "foreign" SIM card, you are asked to enter the unlock password. In order to get it, you will need to contact the operator for which your phone is locked. Provide the IMEI number as well as the serial number of your phone. You can find this data under the battery. You may also be required to provide additional data, such as the series and number of your passport, contract number, place of the contract, and so on. Provide all these data, and then use the received code to unlock.
Step 3
You may also encounter a code that blocks the use of the device if it is stolen or lost. In this case, working with the phone becomes impossible without a special password, the request for entering which appears when the phone is turned on. If you know the password, you will need to remove it in the security settings of your mobile; if not, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of your cell phone. Provide the IMEI and serial number of your mobile, as well as any additional information that may be required. After that, request the reset code, as well as the firmware reset code. You can find these codes yourself, but it is safest to ask the manufacturer for them. The factory reset code will reset all settings to the factory settings, and the firmware reset code will also delete all your personal information stored on the phone.
