The phone's flash card can be blocked in different ways - to ensure the security of access to files and to protect files from being deleted, renamed and moved.
Necessary
an adapter for a phone flash drive or a cable for connecting a mobile device to a computer
Instructions
Step 1
Open your file browser in Control Panel or Office Tools on your phone. Select the removable storage memory and open the context menu. Select the option to unblock, enter the access code, confirm it if this action is required from you, and then the password will be removed. The memory card is also sometimes available as a stand-alone item in the main menu. It depends on the model of your mobile device. Also, unlocking in this case may not be available if your card is also protected against changing the state of files.
Step 2
Go to configuring the security settings of your phone and unlock individual menu items, in this case the memory of your flash card. Also enter the password you provided and confirm it.
Step 3
Please note that if you do not remember it, some models provide for entering the phone code as an alternative (not supported by every model). By default, this code is 00000, 12345, 54321, and so on. Usually it is written in the instructions for your mobile device in the chapter on security settings.
Step 4
Remove the write protection from the flash drive. To do this, if necessary, turn off the phone, open its cover, remove the card and move the special pointer to the Unlock position. After this action, the data on the card will be available for copying, moving and deleting. Also, it will be possible to place other files on the cards, in addition to the existing ones.
Step 5
To access the locked items on the phone's flash card during an active call, press the main menu launch button, navigate through it to the memory card directory. This action is available for some phone models. This is useful in cases where you need to view files on a stranger's phone without knowing the password.
