Home speakers will sound better when properly connected. The modern variety of acoustic accessories provides a huge selection of wires, connectors and other useful little things for connecting speakers to an amplifier.

Instructions
Step 1
Place the speakers in the room so that they have good bass response.
Step 2
Place the amplifier in a location in the room where it is convenient for you to adjust the volume and switch audio devices.
Step 3
Use a tape measure to measure the required length of speaker wires to connect the left and right speakers to the amplifier. Take the total length with a margin of 0.5-0.7m for the mobility of the joints. Lay the acoustic wires separately from the 220V power and lighting wires. This measure will help to reduce the potential network pickup on the amplifier and reduce the likelihood of various kinds of noise. It is very convenient to run acoustic wires under the skirting boards.
Step 4
Buy a speaker cable with the following considerations:
If the diameter of the bass speakers does not exceed 20 cm, or the acoustic connectors on the amplifier are weak, then it makes no sense to take wires with a cross section of more than 1.5 square millimeters.
If the diameter of the bass speaker is 30cm or more, the power of the speaker system does not exceed 100W, the amplifier and speakers have powerful connectors with a screw clamp of the wire, then you can safely take an acoustic cable with a cross section of 2.5 square millimeters. For the screw terminals on the speakers and on the amplifier, as well as for the cross-section of the selected cable, select the gold-plated terminals. They will improve the electrical contact, make the connection suitable for repeated connections and disconnections, reduce the loss of sound voltage due to heating of the connections, as a result of which the bass response of the speakers will slightly improve.
Step 5
Remove the skirting boards under which you will be installing the acoustic wiring.
Step 6
Lay the acoustic wires, fix them to the floor with dowel clamps or plastic brackets. Do not look for a quick alternative method of fastening, do not hammer in nails or screw screws between the wires of the wire.
Step 7
Sign the right channel wire as well as the left channel wire. Usually, the positive conductor of the wire is marked at the manufacturing plant even on relatively inexpensive acoustic wires - the positive conductor is signed along the entire length of the wire or at worst, a white stripe is drawn along the entire negative conductor.
Step 8
Solder the speaker connectors to the stripped ends of the wires. Insulate the rations with heat shrink tubing.
Step 9
Connect the speaker connectors to the amplifier and speakers, observing the polarity and sides of the speakers.
Step 10
Turn on the amplifier, check the system is working.
Step 11
Reinstall the removed skirting boards.
