Home theater is usually a set of equipment that consists of a DVD player and an accompanying speaker system. When choosing a home theater, it is recommended to follow certain rules.

Step 1
Start by choosing your DVD player. It is the main element of a home theater system. Make sure you can easily connect your selected DVD player to your TV. To do this, check the availability of the required ports. Modern home theater systems are equipped with both analogue and digital (HDMI) channels.

The DVD player must have a built-in receiver. This will allow the device to properly distribute and transmit the audio signal to the speaker system. Most often, home theater systems include passive speakers, which means that an amplifier must be present in the player.
Step 3
Pay attention to the sample rate of the receiver. The nominal value of this parameter should not be less than 256 kHz. This is necessary to reproduce a high-quality audio signal.
Step 4
Start choosing your speaker system. Modern home theaters are equipped with a 5.1 speaker system. It consists of a center, front and rear channel and a subwoofer. It is rather difficult to assess the sound quality of a speaker system when buying a cinema. Take a DVD or USB drive with recorded audio tracks with you. Turn on the cinema and enjoy the sound quality.
Step 5
Remember that the speakers should not wheeze or make extraneous noises. If a low-frequency sound is transmitted through the satellites, then the receiver is working poorly. These signals must be reproduced by the subwoofer. Pay attention to the total power of the speaker. For a room less than 30 sq. m, a power of 80-100 watts is required.
Step 6
When evaluating power, consider the fact that a large percentage of it is assigned to the subwoofer. You won't get loud, high-quality sound with an 80-watt subwoofer and 4-watt satellites.
