Step 1
Your receiver must have at least 5 analog RCA inputs. Place the receiver and speakers in the correct scheme around the computer, and then connect the receiver to the acoustics through the corresponding connectors on the rear panel.

Do not confuse the connectors when connecting - remember in which socket the cables from certain speakers are located. Plug the subwoofer into the yellow jack on the back of your computer.

In the sound settings of the soundcard, indicate that you want to connect an output device to the center channel (subwoofer) by marking the yellow connector. If you are mistaken, you can swap the center channel and bass at any time.

If your receiver has an analog input and a signal output for a subwoofer, you can connect a passive subwoofer to it, but if you do not have a subwoofer, you can do without it, using only the receiver and speakers in the system. The subwoofer can be not only passive, but also active - powered from the mains.

If you want to connect active, not passive, acoustics without using a receiver-amplifier, you will need an active subwoofer with a signal amplifier and cable connectors already installed inside it. All speakers are connected to the subwoofer connectors on its rear panel, and the subwoofer is already connected to the computer.
