Step 1
Use a damp sponge to clean the outside of the cabinet. Apply a little dishwasher-specific liquid detergent to it and wipe the case. Rinse the sponge and wipe the outside of the machine again. Use a glass cleaner to remove hardened dirt. However, it should also be applied with a sponge, as when spraying, liquid can enter the housing and damage the electronics or penetrate the gaps between the control parts. The agent not removed from there will itself contribute to the pollution.
Step 2
The inside of the dishwasher is cleaned during the dishwashing process. However, limescale builds up on parts that are hidden from your eyes. This problem occurs especially often in regions with hard water. The formation of limescale is indicated by a cloudy coating on the dishes that remains after washing. To clean the machine of deposits, put a descaler into the machine and run it at the maximum temperature. Perform this procedure once a month.
Step 3
If you begin to notice that the dishes are not completely washed, clean the coarse and fine filters. Also remove any food debris that may have clogged the spray holes and obstructed the flow of water.
Step 4
If mineral deposits from hard water have discolored the inside of the unit, let it work in a normal cycle with a detergent containing citric acid. This can be replaced by placing a bowl of ¼ cup white vinegar on the top shelf of an empty machine. So it should run through the normal cycle without adding detergent. Remember to use special cleaning agents to clean the dishwasher. Do not use kitchen sink liquids or abrasive cleaners.
