Step 1
At present, it is difficult to find a mobile phone connected to a computer with a cable that does not support modem functions. But still, it is better to first make sure that this is possible. Connect the USB port of laptops or desktop computers to your mobile phone.

Download and install a program that allows you to set up synchronization between your phone and your computer. It can be any utility you like, but manufacturers recommend using their programs for this purpose. They are usually freely available on the official websites of these companies.

As an example, we will consider the option of connecting to the Internet using the Nokia PC Suit utility. These Nokia products allow you to perform a huge amount of manipulation with the phone. Run this program.
Step 4
Open the Internet Connection menu. Please note that access to the World Wide Web on the phone itself must be configured. Enter the username and password that your operator recommends to use to connect to the Internet. They usually take on the same values as when configuring the phone itself.
Step 5
Now click on the "Configure Options" button. Enter more detailed internet connection settings. Specify the access point for connection and the type of data transfer. If you have chosen a 3G data transmission channel, then first make sure that your mobile phone supports this network.
Step 6
Now click the "Finish" button to save the settings. In the "Internet Connection" menu, click the "Connect" button. Wait while the program performs the required operations to complete the connection. Now minimize the window, but don't close it. Remember that by closing the program window, you disconnect your computer from the Internet.
