The Russian language is not always present in the newly purchased phone, especially if the device is brought from abroad. But this problem can be solved. Adding the Russian language to the phone is called Russification.
Necessary
- - programs for flashing
- - firmware file
- - language files
Instructions
Step 1
Download the firmware version suitable for your phone and containing Russian. Re-flashing means replacing the contents of the non-volatile memory of an electronic device and updating its firmware. Download firmware only from trusted sites. Better yet, consult someone who is good at this.
Step 2
You can also add the languages you want to your phone manually. You will need a Russian language file, it is usually named like this: ru.lng. And the ru.t9 file is responsible for the Russian language in the T9 dictionary. You need to download these files from a reliable site and place them in the hidden file system of the phone, in the following directory: tpa / preset / system / language. The files you downloaded must match your phone model and firmware version.
Step 3
To get into the hidden file system, use SEFP, JDFlasher (these are plugins for the FAR manager program - a convenient manager for working with files). Open the bfs or ofs directory and go to the directory specified in the previous step. Find the following files in the Language folder: lng.dat, allowed_language.txt, and lng.lst. Once highlighted, remove them from your phone by pressing the F8 key.
Step 4
Create a file called allowed_language.txt on your computer, open it and specify the required languages in it: "ru, en" (you do not need to write quotes) and save it in UTF-8 encoding, and then place it in the above directory. Add the ru.lng and ru.t9 language files there as well. Only lowercase letters should be used in file names.
Step 5
Create a customize_upgrade.xml file on your computer. XML is a text format used to exchange data between programs. In the code, specify the languages that should be on the phone. In this format, the code starts with a descriptor:
ru
Step 6
Save the file in UTF-8 encoding and place it in the tpa / preset / custom directory. Exit the plugin by approving the changes.
