Step 1
Look in the user manual for your navigation device for how you can access the ID code view. Most often it is located in one of the menu items. Or, to view it, you need to press special buttons or icons (in touch models).

Go to the settings menu of your navigator and carefully review the system information regarding the identification code. It can also be found in the system information or in the "About device" menu item, here it all depends on the model and manufacturer.

Press and hold for a few seconds the button to enter the main menu of the navigator until the system information appears. View the data in the id line - this will be the identifier of your navigator. In some cases, you can press any menu items in standby mode, for example, the battery charge level icon. Everything may depend on the manufacturer, and the combinations indicated in the instructions may simply not work.

In order to better study the functions and features of your navigator, register on a special thematic form and read the information regarding your model there. Also, more often look at the user manual and on the official website of the manufacturer.
Step 5
When buying a navigator, ask your sales assistant what combination you can use to find out the device's identification number, so as not to waste time looking for information on the menus and forums in the future. Please note that in some cases the identifier may also be written on the warranty card or box. When purchasing, pay attention to the special service stickers on the packaging and documentation of the device.
