The identification number of the mobile phone is a special 15-digit code assigned to it upon release of the device. There are even two such identifiers in Nokia phones.

Step 1
Dial the following combination in your phone in standby mode: * # 06 #. In this case, a fifteen-digit number will appear on your screen, which is called IMEI. It is original for every mobile device, serves mainly for security purposes and identifying the location of the subscriber. When the phone is turned on, the IMEI is sent from its SIM card to the operator, who can further determine where the phone is. That is why, when loading it, the message "Sending a message" sometimes appears in the menu. This is very convenient in case of loss of your mobile device, as well as in cases of theft.
Step 2
Look at this code also under the battery of your mobile device next to the SIM card on a special sticker. The second identifier of your phone is also indicated there, which is an independent development of Nokia. It usually contains about 7 characters. Do not under any circumstances change these numbers before the expiration of the warranty period. Do not confuse it with the serial number of the device, there will be a CODE on the left opposite it.
Step 3
Look for a sticker on the box of your mobile device; it should contain an IMEI number and, in some cases, a second identifier. These stickers are also used for the warranty sheets for phones, which are usually found on the last pages of the manuals of Nokia devices. In some cases, sellers simply leave unused stickers inside the box. Other manufacturers of mobile phones only have an IMEI code to determine the location of the phone.
Step 4
To view it on phones from other manufacturers, use the combination * # 06 #, just like in Nokia mobile devices. It is also written in these cases on the box and in the documentation.
