Step 1
In order to identify the manufacturer of your phone, take a look at the official IMEI markings. In it, the first six digits are the Type Approved Code (TAC), the two digits are the Manufacturer's Code (FAC). The next two digits are the Country Code of Final Assembly (SNR). This is followed by the six-digit serial number of the phone. There is one spare digit left as a spare identifier.
Step 2
Dial "* # 06 #" on the phone and you will see IMEI on the screen. If the model has not been flashed, then the same numbers will be reflected on the mobile phone label. The inscription will look, for example, like this: "IMEI 3578522078". Omit TAC. The seventh and eighth digits correspond to the manufacturer's code - "20". There are many resources on the global network where you can find country codes. So, in our case, the figure 20 corresponds to the German manufacturer.
Step 3
It should be noted that before determining the manufacturer of a mobile phone, you need to study the possible countries of its production, since in IMEI, due to a flashing, there may be simply thoughtless values. At the same time, the International Mobile Equipment Identifier is the unique identifier of the original set by the manufacturer.
Step 4
If after dialing "* # 06 #" nothing happened, then check the labels that are pasted on the battery and under it. If there is deception, then you can see the IMEI mismatch on these structural elements of the model. In addition, the official manufacturers protect the sticker describing the characteristics of the phone with holographic images. Although all these tags can also be faked.
Step 5
In order to determine the official manufacturer of the iPhone phone, select the "About device" item in the menu of this model. When the "Home" menu appears, select items in the following sequence: "Settings", "General", "About device". Scroll down the page. In this case, depending on the model, you can see the designation of the serial number as UDID, IMEI or ICCID. For example, ICCID is the IC card identifier.
Step 6
In addition, the “iTunes” application can be supplied with the phone software, which also allows you to determine the characteristics of the model manufacturer and some other properties. Look at the serial number of the phone on the back of the Apple iPad, which is always present with the official manufacturer.
