Presetting a Wi-Fi router
Before connecting to a wireless network, make sure that the TV supports the SMART-TV function, and also provides the ability to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi. The wireless connection is established after connecting and configuring the router or router. Connect the latter to the fiber-optic cable run to the apartment and the computer's network connector, and then enter the router settings menu through any Internet browser. Enter the special IP address specified in the instructions for your router in the address bar. There you will also find a username and password to enter the service menu.
Set the basic network connection settings provided by your ISP. Do not forget to enter your personal username and password for permanent access to the network. Connecting the Internet to the TV via Wi-Fi
Turn on your TV and go to the settings menu. Open the network settings section and select the wireless Internet connection as the main one. Next, select the name of your home network (it should appear on the screen with an active and correctly configured router). Complete the suggested key parameter fields using the on-screen or external keyboard. You need to specify a password to connect the TV to Wi-Fi, as well as, if necessary, basic network settings, including the IP address and DNS address provided by the provider.
Complete the wireless setup. If all parameters were specified correctly, the data will be automatically saved. You can now test your Wi-Fi connection by trying to open an Internet address in your TV browser. Also, a properly configured connection will be indicated by the appeared ability to download various applications for the TV through a special service in the main menu.
If your TV does not have a built-in Wi-Fi router, you can still set up a wireless Internet connection. For this, a special portable device is used that is connected to the TV via a USB or HDMI connector. The most popular gadget of this type is Android Mini PC TV. After connecting to the TV, the settings menu will appear on the screen, in which the Wi-Fi connection is established using the method described above.
