SMS notifications are a service through which various services, including mobile operators, transmit certain information to the subscriber. You can easily turn off unwanted messages on your own or with the help of your operator's phone shop staff.
Instructions
Step 1
Try sending an SMS message with the word "STOP" or STOP to the number from which the notifications are coming. As a rule, this command stops mailing and allows you to unsubscribe from the information service. Please note that in some cases, a certain amount of money will be charged from the mobile account for unsubscribing from the mailing list.
Step 2
Disable sending notifications through the Internet assistant. Access to this service is provided by all major cellular operators through their official websites. To get a username and password, go through the quick registration procedure, then go to the service section with information about current subscriptions. Here you can turn off those that are not needed, as well as refuse all other paid and informational services.
Step 3
Look on the website of your operator for a list of USSD commands that are entered through the dialing menu on the phone. There should also be a command to access the menu of current subscriptions and connected information services, through which you can disable unnecessary ones.
Step 4
Contact your carrier's support center. To do this, you need to dial a special short number operating within the network: 0890 - for MTS subscribers, 555 - for Megafon subscribers and 0611 - for Beeline subscribers. As soon as the answering machine starts talking, press the "0" key and wait for the connection with the operator. Tell the specialist that you want to disable SMS notifications and give the appropriate number. Be prepared to provide your passport details upon request and inform you of the current mobile tariff.
Step 5
Visit your operator's mobile phone showroom. Contact the managers and ask them to disable unnecessary information services. This procedure does not take much time and is often free of charge. In this case, the office staff may need your client agreement and passport.
