Step 1
Typically laptops have two additional video outputs: VGA and HDMI. Considering the existence of a huge number of different adapters, you can connect your laptop to almost any modern TV. Naturally, it is recommended to use digital video transmission channels, because this will provide the best image quality. Purchase a suitable set of cables and adapters.
Step 2
Connect the laptop video card to the selected TV connector. Turn on your mobile computer and TV. Wait for the loading of the operating system to complete. Now open the TV settings menu. Select the port that you connected to the laptop. Designate it as the main video receiver.

Now open the Control Panel on your laptop and select the Appearance and Personalization menu. Open the "Connect an external display" item. It should be located in the "Display" menu. Click the Find button next to the laptop screen graphic. Wait for the additional monitor to be defined.
Step 4
Now select the display to be the primary display. In this case, it is recommended to use a laptop screen. Activate the Make this display primary function. Select the option to synchronize the TV with the laptop. If you want to get an identical image on both screens, then select the function "Duplicate Screen".
Step 5
Typically the Extend This Screen option is used. Activating this feature will allow you to simultaneously perform various tasks on your TV and laptop screens. Please note that if you connected not via HDMI-HDMI, then you will need an additional cable to transfer audio to the TV. When using an HDMI channel, be sure to adjust the operating parameters of your audio adapter.
