Satellite TV, in contrast to the usual terrestrial, makes it possible to view digital channels in HD quality on new LCD and LED TVs. Thus, the colors on the screen look realistic, and the picture allows you to create a "presence" effect. To be able to cover the entire spectrum of TV channels from all satellites available in orbit, you can either use a motor suspension for a satellite dish, or connect two or more "dishes" to one receiver at the same time.

Instructions

Step 1

Install two satellite dishes. The most traditional option: one "looks" to the west and has three convectors - to the Amos 2/3 4W, Astra 4, 8E (Sirius 5E) and HotBird 13E satellites, the second is directed to the east, where the ABS 1 75E, Express AM2 80E satellites are located and Yamal 201 90E. When installing them, make sure that the brackets on which they are attached are either strictly horizontal (on the wall) or vertical (on the roof). In addition, there should be no tall buildings or tall trees in front of the antennas that could block the signal from the satellite.

Step 2

Tune the western antenna first. To do this, connect the coaxial cable to the central convector (satellite Astra 4, 8E), and then to the receiver's LBN in jack. Connect the latter to a TV and set up a channel on which satellite TV will be shown. In the future, you will switch TV channels with the receiver's remote control. In the tuner menu, select the satellite Astra 4, 8E, if it is not there, register it manually. Set such transponder settings - 11766h27500, disable DiSEqC. Place the antenna vertically and move it to the right as far as it will go. Moving it to the left, pick up the signal from the satellite and bring its strength to 80-90%. This will be visible at the bottom of the settings window. Fix the antenna in this position.

Step 3

Turn off the satellite receiver and connect the cable from the Amos2 / 3 4W convector to it. Adjusting with the convector on the bar, tune to the satellite. Also set the signal on the HotBird 13E satellite. Tune the second antenna in the same way, starting with Express AM2 80E. To connect these two antennas to one receiver at the same time, use an electronic device DiSEqC 8-1 (8 - inputs, 1 - output). Connect the coaxial cables from all six convectors to it, and the output cable to the receiver. Turn it on and turn on DiSEqC in the satellite menu settings. Scan all transponders of six satellites with the receiver and store the channels. In the same way, you can connect three, four, etc. satellite dishes, only DiSEqC with a large number of inputs should be taken.
