If you decide to change the ink in the printer yourself, remember that not all ink replacement methods are suitable for all printer models. For example, some printers produced by American and Japanese firms, when trying to fill cartridges with ordinary ink from a syringe, begin to fail, displaying a printing error. Therefore, you should familiarize yourself with some of the nuances of refilling ink into the printer.
Instructions
Step 1
First, turn off the printer. Make sure that it is disconnected from the power supply, as if you accidentally start it while changing the paint, some parts of the device may be damaged, resulting in further damage to the entire unit.
Step 2
Prepare your workplace: you will need several sheets of newspaper, preferably more, since the paint is well absorbed and is no longer washed off. If the room has white flooring, we strongly recommend that this operation be carried out in another room, as 10 newspapers may not save you in an emergency, for example, a spilled paint bottle. In addition to newspapers, you need a syringe, you can use the most common one, there are also large ones - specialized, a rag and a solvent.
Step 3
It is best to carry out replacement with disposable gloves, if you do not want to wash your hands for a week, or spend the whole evening wiping off stains with solvent.
Step 4
Remove the ink cartridges as instructed by your printer. Typically, these instructions can be found either on the printer box or directly on the back of the lid.
Step 5
After removing the cartridge, fill the syringe with the required ink. It is best to have a separate one for each color, since in this case the paint does not mix. Carefully enter the special plug of the cartridge with a syringe, or open it if your model has such an opportunity. Pour in the paint very slowly, as the slightest spilled drops will cause you a lot of inconvenience. Once the ink is inside, you can install the cartridge.
