When there is an urgent need to quickly download a file or make a video call to a work colleague, limiting the Internet speed becomes an especially unpleasant problem. In modems and MTS phones, such a nuisance occurs in two tariff plans - "BIT" and "Super-BIT".
Instructions
Step 1
If you use a device connected to the Internet via an MTS SIM card and want to increase the speed, find out first what tariff options you have. When you connect the "BIT" tariff, you can use no more than 5 MB per hour or 70 MB per day. If you exceed this quota - the total amount of all information, then the Internet speed will automatically decrease to 64/16 Kbps until the end of the current hour or day. You will find the same decrease in speed when you connect to the "Super-BIT" tariff. Only in this case you will have more traffic - 15 MB per hour and 100 MB per day.
Step 2
As soon as you determine your tariff plan, you will be able to navigate under what conditions the Internet speed will decrease. As a result, having found that you have exceeded the volume, the Internet speed has dropped, use the special features from MTS - "Turbo button". It removes all existing restrictions on Internet speed and traffic volume and is valid for either two hours or six hours. This service can be activated in three ways.
Step 3
To use the "Turbo-button" Dial * 111 * 622 # on your mobile phone if you want to activate the service for two hours, or replace 622 with 626 for a six-hour service. The second option is to send a short SMS-message with the text 622 or 626 to the short number "111" and wait for activation.
Step 4
The third option for connecting the Turbo Button is via the Internet. Open your internet browser and type in the address ihelper.nw.mts.ru/selfcare/. Dial the combination of symbols * 111 * 25 # on your phone and get a password, then enter your phone number and password in the “Internet Assistant” tab.
