LED backlights in cameras for computers sometimes do not have automatic lighting control and remain in working condition even after you stop working with the camera and computer. Knowing the backlight settings or turning it off will allow normal webcam communication and exclude room lighting after turning off the video device.

Instructions
Step 1
Install drivers on your webcam. Connect your device.
Step 2
Conduct an experiment - work with the camera with artificial dimming. If the diodes continue to work in bright light, then the backlight does not turn off on its own, automatic settings have not been performed.
Step 3
On your computer, go to: "Start" -> "All Programs" -> Usb pc camera -> (camera name). In the taskbar, right-click on the camera icon. If it is not there, then run from here: C: windowsCamera.exe.
Step 4
Find the Open property page in the window that appears at the bottom right, look for “ED mode. To turn off the backlight completely, check the Off box.
Step 5
If you still need automatic backlight settings for dimming, check the auto box. In this position, the camera illumination will only turn on at dusk.
