A miniature light source built into the camera called a flash can help the photographer to temporarily illuminate the subject. However, in good light and during the daytime, the flash is often not required, and sometimes it spoils the pictures, so you can simply turn it off.

Instructions
Step 1
Disable the flash in the camera settings. Read the instructions that came with your camera, or try turning off the flash with the lightning bolt on the camera body by pressing the button. At the same time, watch the screen - an icon with a crossed out lightning or a corresponding inscription should appear on it. When photographing people, select the red-eye reduction mode indicated by the eye icon.
Step 2
Turn off auto mode. Switch to a shooting mode in which you do not need to use a flash - Semi-Auto, Landscape, or Sports. If you decide to shoot in manual mode, then first adjust the light parameters yourself. Study the literature on the subject ahead of time to get good shots.
Step 3
If you are using a DSLR or advanced self-pop-up flash digital camera, simply cover (pop) the flash with your hand or hold it with your finger. Turn on flashless mode. If you know how to set the settings in manual mode, select “A”, “M” or “P” on the camera.
Step 4
Check the settings for your model of camera if you want to shoot in auto mode. In the menu of the device, find the item about flash (if the menu is in English, look for the word flash). Disable the "Auto flash on" or "Auto flash selection" section in the menu.
Step 5
When using a film camera, turn off the flash using the dedicated switch if the camera has the ability to automatically rewind the film. If only manual tape rewinding is possible, disable the flash by removing the camera batteries before opening the lens.
Step 6
Turn off the flash with the switch located directly on it, or disconnect the flash from the device. Avoid touching the flash contacts.
