Photography is not only a pleasant process, but also a memory of certain events. And I want to share memorable photos. Now, when almost everyone in the house has a digital camera, it is not difficult at all, you just need to transfer photos to your computer.
It is necessary
- - a computer with a valid USB port;
- - camera;
- - card reader or USB-cable for the camera.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a card reader built-in or connected to your computer, the easiest way is to use it. To do this, remove the memory card from the camera; if necessary, connect the card reader to the computer.
Step 2
Locate the appropriate slot on the card reader. Insert a memory card into it. Make sure the connector fits and you insert the card correctly - if it doesn't want to go into the slot, then you are doing something wrong. With too much pressure, there is a risk of permanently breaking the card or reader.
Step 3
After the card is inserted, make sure it can be read by the computer. Most likely, a new window will open on your screen asking what to do with the contents of the flash drive (this is how a memory card is read) or a folder with this content right away. When prompted, select "Open Folder" or "Copy Pictures to Computer" whichever is more convenient for you. When copying, select the location where you want to upload your photos.
Step 4
If the folder with photos has opened automatically, then view the photos, select with the mouse all the photos or just the ones you need and right-click on any of them. In the menu that opens, select "Copy" (in this case, the photos will remain on the USB flash drive) or "Cut" (the photos will be completely transferred to the computer).
Step 5
Open or, if necessary, create a folder where you want to transfer photos, click on any free space with the right mouse button and select "Paste" in the menu that opens. Wait for the copying process to complete.
Step 6
If you do not have a card reader, use the cable to connect the camera and computer, usually it comes with the camera. Connect the cord to the appropriate connector on the machine with one end, the other into the USB connector on the computer, and follow steps 3 to 5.
