In addition, through a satellite dish, you can not only watch TV, but also connect to the Internet and even make calls. This is especially true in areas where there is no regular telephone landline or mobile connection.

Step 1
Determine the satellite and transponder frequency to be tuned to. To do this, use the sites: www.lyngsat.com, www.flysat.com. Select the strongest transponder on the signal. Find out if your area falls within the range of the satellite. Coverage maps can also be found on these sites or on the site of a particular satellite
Step 2
Determine the location of the satellite. To do this, use the program for calculating the location of the satellite relative to latitude and longitude - Satellite Antenna Alignment. Find out the geographic coordinates of your area and enter into the program. After that, the program itself will show the direction of rotation of the antenna and the angle of its tilt.
Step 3
Take a satellite receiver and connect it to your TV and then to a satellite dish like Lumax DV-728. Most of the offered receivers are suitable for this. Select "Setup" -> "Antenna Installation" in the main menu.
Step 4
Select the satellite name, transponder frequency with polarization ("V" - vertical, "H" - horizontal) and symbol rate - (if the required frequency is not there, then you should return to the previous menu, select "Channel search" and enter the desired value there). Then we select the type of LNB converter "Universal 2", if the plate is not connected to several converters and a moto suspension, then turn off the DiSEqC and the positioner. If there are several converters (multifeed or just several plates), then you need to specify the converter of the plate that you are setting up. To do this, look at which DiSEqC switch connector number the wire from the tuned dish fits into.
Step 5
Determine the direction to the south. Raise or lower the plate mirror to the required degree. Begin to turn the plate in a horizontal direction, passing the entire horizon. The receiver, in contrast to the DVB card, reacts faster to the movement of the dish, so you can move it quickly. After a while, a signal will appear, which will be visible on the scale on the TV. Set the plate to the maximum signal, secure it. Turn the converter slowly to obtain the maximum signal and secure it.
