Data backups are created in case the device is flashed or malfunctions occur in order to prevent the loss of important data. The popular iPhone gadget also has the ability to create a data backup. To do this, you need to use the computer program iTunes.
Instructions
Step 1
To back up using iTunes, select the appropriate item in the program menu. Open this application on your computer and connect your iPhone to your PC with a cable.
Step 2
Go to the menu "File" - "Devices" - "Create a backup". After selecting this menu item, wait until the copying operation is completed. After completing the procedure, you will see a corresponding notification on your computer screen.

To check the recorded data, go to "Edit" - "Settings" - "Devices". There you will see the time of the procedure and today's date. All backup files are saved in the folder "Start" - "Computer" - "Local drive C:" - "Users" - "Username" - AppData - Roaming - Apple Computer - MobileSync - Backup.
Step 4
ITunes backups include data such as contacts, messages, settings, Camera Roll, documents, application and game saves, and other system data. Music, movies and programs are not included in the concept of "backup", and therefore they must be separately saved in your iTunes library or on your computer in the folder with which the program synchronizes data for copying to iPhone.
Step 5
The iPhone is also capable of automatically backing up data to iCloud on its own if there is an Internet connection. Important information is saved every day when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. To enable this option, go to the menu "Settings" - iCloud - "Storage and copies" of the phone. Here you can manually create a backup ("Create a copy") or disable automatic saving of the necessary data.
Step 6
IPhone data recovery is performed when information is completely deleted from it. To do this, go to the menu "Settings" - "General" - "Reset" - "Erase content and settings". After the device starts after uninstallation, you will see the device setup menu. Select the item you would like to use for data recovery (iCloud or iTunes) and follow the instructions on the screen.
