Finding out information about how much traffic was transmitted in a specific period of time is not at all difficult. Traffic can be easily checked using special software designed for this. If the tariff package for Internet access on a megaphone involves paying for traffic per megabyte, then this can be useful.
It is necessary
- - a computer with the installed Windows operating system;
- - access to the computer as an administrator;
- - a firewall configured to allow the installed software to work.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the program for getting statistics on traffic on a megaphone for free. For example, the NetWorx program. On the site, the developer offers to download two versions of the program: Portable and Installer. Portable means running the program without installation, while Installer will need to be installed. Download Portable version for further convenience in work.
Step 2
Create a NetWorx folder, in any section folder where your custom documents are located. To be able to run programs on different computers, create a folder on the flash card. Unzip the archive downloaded from the developer's site into the created folder. Go into it and run the file called networx.exe.
Step 3
Configure the necessary parameters for subsequent work at the first start of the program. Select the language for displaying the text and the network adapter whose traffic you want to scan. If there is more than one adapter, then you can select the "All connections" item, which will allow you to control all traffic on the computer. Press the "Finish" button to confirm the operation.
Step 4
After the NetWork icon appears in the system tray, double-click on it with the left mouse button. The main window will open, which contains all the statistics. Click on the tab you need for more detailed information.
