If you just bought a SIM card of an MTS operator, then there is little chance that you will immediately remember the issued number, although you may need it when replenishing the balance or when specifying any data. You can use several methods to check your number.

Step 1
Insert the MTS SIM card into your device. To do this, remove the back cover of the device and remove the battery from there. There is a compartment under the battery where you need to install your card. In accordance with the indications on the panel and the shape of the connector, insert your SIM and reinstall the battery, and then the phone cover.
Step 2
Turn on your device. Wait until it finishes downloading and make sure the network has been found using the cellular network indicator on the home screen. If this is the first time you inserted this SIM card into the device, then you should receive a welcome SMS message.
Step 3
MTS has a special service, by calling which you can find out your mobile phone number. To do this, go to the dialing mode on your device and enter a combination of numbers 0887, after which you will be sent an SMS with the necessary data.
Step 4
The memory of the new SIM from MTS also contains the most important parameters, including your phone number. To do this, open the device notebook and look at the very top of the list. If nothing is displayed, then go to the settings menu and turn on the display of contacts recorded on the SIM card.
Step 5
You can also call any phone that has a caller ID function. After making a call, the display of the other device will show your number, to which your SIM card is recorded.
Step 6
You can also look at your number on the package of the MTS kit. Always with the purchase of the card, details are issued, which are indicated either directly on the box from the operator's SIM card, or inserted inside the package, which contains the instructions for use, a plastic card and a contract. All of these papers may also have your number indicated. If there is no data on these documents, then you should be given a piece of paper on which the relevant information is written.
