Cellular communication is present in all spheres of human life today. Mobile operators are installing more and more antenna transmitters of radio signals on the roofs of residential buildings or educational institutions. This is of concern to many people, as the health effects of these antennas are considered to be quite negative. The question of whether this is so - can be answered by industry experts.
Harm to mobile communications
When re-installing mobile towers to more distant places, no noticeable effect will be observed, since electromagnetic fields are present wherever there are mobile phones. The level of exposure to these fields is approximately the same at a distance of 2 meters from the telephone and 150 meters from the antenna. However, in the presence of a tower directly opposite the window of a residential building and radiation directed towards it, the load on the body is further increased.
Children and the elderly are most vulnerable to the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation.
Experts carried out the following experiment: when bringing a mobile phone to a person's ear, they measured the bioelectric activity of the subject's brain. The brain did not react to the switched off mobile phone - however, the switched on phone instantly increased the excitability of the brain and set the rhythm in which electromagnetic radiation works. In this regard, the experts made a conclusion in which they correlated the presence of high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, sleep disorders, headaches and dizziness, with the presence of electromagnetic fields around people.
Dangerous or not really?
According to experts, correctly installed repeater antennas for mobile communications are safe, since their power does not exceed several tens of watts, while television towers have much higher radiation. Experts argue that the problem is not with cellular signal transmitters, but with too frequent and intensive use of mobile phones. The relay stations themselves do not pose a threat if their level of electromagnetic radiation is the maximum permissible.
The constant abuse of mobile phones significantly increases the dose of electromagnetic radiation.
In addition, each repeating antenna of mobile communication must have its own sanitary passport for a period of five years, drawn up by the institution of the sanitary-epidemiological service. The distance from the antenna to the living quarters is not defined by legislation, however, the signal emitted by the transmitter should in any case not exceed the established standards. You can check the level of its electromagnetic radiation with the help of the city sanitary and epidemiological station or representatives of the operator company that installed the antenna.
