The caller ID function on Panasonic phones allows you to automatically detect the number of an incoming call. This is very useful, as it gives you the opportunity to prepare for a conversation or not pick up the phone if an unpleasant interlocutor calls. Caller ID setup procedure depends on which Panasonic phone series you have installed.
Instructions
Step 1
Identify your Panasonic phone series. As a rule, this information is found in the instruction manual. If you have lost it, you can go to the official Russian site of Panasonic https://www.panasonic.ru, enter the name of the phone in the search engine and read the description. Caller ID settings for different series are slightly different.
Step 2
Go to the Panasonic 200 and 300 series phone in the "Menu" and select the "Base setup" item. Enter the PIN that you have set to log into the database. By default, it has the following combination: "0000". Find the "Caller ID" function in the list that appears and go to it by clicking the "OK" button.
Step 3
Enter the combination "255", after which the item "Auto-receive" will appear. Click the "Ok" button. Select the "On" command and confirm the operation. Caller ID on Panasonic 400th version phones is configured according to a similar algorithm, however, the item about "Auto-receiving" is skipped.
Step 4
Enter the service mode if you have a Panasonic phone of the 500th version installed. Enter the combination "72627664", then go to the Write eeprom item and select the address 007F, to which you assign the value 06. As a result, the caller ID function will be automatically connected to the phone.
Step 5
Disable one of the Caller ID features. The fact is that Panasonic phones have Russian Caller ID and European Caller ID, as a result of which problems may arise when receiving an incoming call. Go to the "Menu" section and select the "Base setup" item by entering the PIN-code.
Step 6
Go to the Caller ID function and select the "Mode" item, in which we set the Caller ID mode. Save the changes by clicking the "OK" button. If your phone has monomelodies of a call, then by going to the base settings (SETTING BS), you need to find the CID OFF mode and press the cross to the right, after which the call hang-up button.
