It is not surprising, because a mobile phone in the 21st century is already something more than just a means of communication. You can save the situation with a dead battery by having small household secrets.

Step 1
In order to charge a dead battery for an emergency or just an important and short call, you can use the phone's backup battery function. This feature reserves a portion of the battery power for emergency response calls and maintenance of systems such as, say, the clocks on Sony Ericcson and Nokia phones. Unfortunately, this function only works on certain models of the specified brands. To activate the backup battery, dial * 4720 # or # 3370 # on the phone keypad, respectively.
Step 2
If you are the proud owner of a modern phone, you can charge a dead battery using a standard USB to mini-USB cable. To do this, simply connect the phone to the computer using a cable. This operation can be carried out in a huge variety of random places, for example, in a store with USB cables on the counter. Ten minutes of such charging can be enough for several tens of minutes of conversation.
Step 3
A dead battery can also be recharged using a car charger or a universal charger. The latter is good because it is able to charge the phone battery without any wires, but the car "charger" often ends up in the cars of taxi drivers or just kind and sympathetic motorists.
Step 4
In the field, you can charge the phone battery using ordinary household batteries and overwhelmed wiring. To do this, you need to strip the wires with a knife or scissors, connect in series with these wires four AA batteries ("finger") or any other batteries, the total voltage of which does not exceed five volts. The output wires of the resulting circuit then need to be connected to the contacts of the telephone battery. Here, sticky tape, plasticine or even clay can also come in handy - if only the contacts are held tightly, without overheating the battery. It is worth remembering that if the polarity or voltage level is not observed, the battery may leak or even explode.
Step 5
Electricians will be able to use a 2 ohm resistor that has come to hand, which must be connected to the bundle of batteries already known from the previous point. In this case, it will be possible to use a wire from a standard charger of your phone as a cable, and the battery itself will not have to be taken out. Another plus of this type of charging is that it can occur even while talking on the phone.
