Step 1
MTS presents a specialized service "Internet Assistant", which can be used by holders of both ordinary contracts and SIM cards used as a modem.
Step 2
To use this service, you first need to set a specific password. Open the top cover of the modem (it slides easily towards the USB connector). In a kind of "pocket" there will be a SIM card that needs to be removed.
Step 3
Insert the card into the SIM slot of the mobile phone. Switch on the device. If required, enter the PIN code that is printed under the protective tape on the plastic card in which the SIM card was originally inserted.
Step 4
Wait for registration on the network. After that, dial * 111 * 25 # on the keypad of your mobile phone and wait for the SMS, in which the password required to enter the Assistant will be written. Write it down and remember. If you don't receive your message, call 1118 and follow the instructions on your answering machine.
Step 5
Insert the SIM back into the modem. Connect the device to your computer, connect to the Internet. Go to the "Internet Assistant" website, where you enter your personal account using your phone number and the password received in SMS. If you do not know your number, then it must be printed on the same plastic card on which the PIN was written.
Step 6
In the opened window of your personal account, the Internet balance will be displayed. In the "Internet Assistant" you can manage the connected services, change the tariff plan. You can also order a breakdown of expenses for a specific period.
