Step 1
Almost all Nokia phone models with built-in cameras allow using photos taken by the user as screensavers. The way they are placed in the background depends on the model of the device and its operating system. For example, in Symbian 9.3 OS, to do this, open the Gallery by selecting the appropriate item in the main menu, then select the Images section, and then the Images subsection. Having opened the desired photo, press the left subscreen key, then select the menu item "Use picture" - "Set as wallpaper". If the photo has been edited, you will not be able to find the result in the “Images” subsection - you will have to select “All” instead of it at the appropriate stage.
Step 2
An important requirement for a picture used as a wallpaper is a small file size. It is pointless to download large images - they will still be reduced to the screen resolution, but the space on the memory card will take up more. And the phone can noticeably "slow down", especially immediately after switching on. An interesting solution to this problem is to download thumbnails of photos from free photo banks. To do this, go to the site of such a photobank, do not register on it, but immediately select a picture. Go to the page of this image, download its thumbnail, which has a horizontal resolution of about 300 pixels. Unlike the full-size image, it can be downloaded without registration.
Step 3
It is convenient to download images using the UC browser. Being on the page with a picture, select "File" - "Images" from the menu. Use the horizontal arrow keys to select the one of the pictures located on the page that you need. Press the left subscreen key and select "Save" from the menu that appears. Then, if desired, change the file name and save location.
Step 4
Now launch the phone's built-in file manager (for example, in Symbian 9.3 - "Applications" - "Organizer" - "File manager"). Find the file you downloaded and press the center button of the joystick. When the image opens, make it the background image as described above.
