The MegaFon company was no exception, having created together with Intel a common brainchild - the MegaFon Mint smartphone.
The mobile operator "MegaFon" in mid-August 2012 began selling the MegaFon Mint smartphone. It can be purchased in the company's branded stores and in the operator's online store, the price of the device is 17,990 rubles.
The MegaFon Mint smartphone was equipped with an Intel Atom Z2460 processor, clocked at 1.6 GHz. It also supports Hyper-threading technology, which allows the processor core to process two threads of instructions at once.
The built-in Intel XMM 6260 modem allows you to connect to a variety of cellular networks, including the HSPA + standard. The frequency of the graphics device of the smartphone is 400 megahertz, which provides a high-quality display of information displayed on the screen.
The phone has 16 gigabytes of internal memory and one gigabyte of RAM. The device is equipped with a 4.03-inch screen with a TFT-matrix with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels. The smartphone has the ability to exchange information with various devices via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. In addition, it supports WiDi, a multimedia signal transmission standard.
The model is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera, with which you can also shoot videos in Full HD quality. A feature of the camera is the continuous photography mode: by selecting it, the user can take up to ten frames per second. Additionally, the new gadget has a front camera with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
The handset weighs 124 g and uses micro-SIM cards. The smartphone operates on the basis of the popular Android 2.3 OS. In talk mode, the battery will last for eight hours, for surfing the Internet - for five.
The hardware platform of the MegaFon Mint smartphone is called Medfield. It has an x86 architecture, while most modern smartphones are equipped with processors based on the ARM architecture. Besides Russia, the phone is available in a number of other countries, but it is sold there under other names - for example, in India the device is offered as Lava Xolo X900.
In terms of its parameters and capabilities, the new smartphone fully meets all the requirements for devices of this class, therefore, it will certainly be in demand by customers.
