The South Korean concern Samsung Electronics has announced the release date for the sale in Russia of the Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone. Sales of this device will begin at 19:00 on the fifth of June. The preliminary retail price of the Samsung Galaxy SIII with 16 GB built-in memory is 29,990 rubles.
The Samsung Galaxy SIII was unveiled on May 3rd at Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012, an event held in London. As is clear from the designation III, this is the flagship smartphone of the third generation from the Galaxy S line. By the way, according to representatives of Samsung Electronics, it was this line of smartphones that allowed the company to reach the leading places among manufacturers of devices for mobile communications, both in Russia and in the world.
The specifications of the new smartphone start with the Super AMOLED touchscreen, which has a diagonal of 4, 8 inches and a resolution of 1280x720. Of course, a quad-core chip called Exynos 4 Quad (clocked at 1.4 GHz) is used. RAM - 1 GB.
As for the camera, it was decided to use an eight-megapixel main and a 1.9-megapixel second camera. The drive is available in 16GB or 32GB sizes (64GB will be available at a later date).
