If you want to contact a service center to fix your mobile phone, or you just want to know how long ago your phone came off the factory conveyor, you have a few simple ways to do it. Do not believe the myths that for this you need to have sophisticated equipment for opening phones, and even more so, do not believe that it is dangerous for your mobile device.
Instructions
Step 1
Find instructions from your mobile phone. First, study the box in which the phone was sold. Some manufacturers print information about the release date directly on it. If there is no such information on the box, look at the instructions, sometimes at the beginning or at the end, where general information on the phone is given, their "birthday" is also indicated.
Step 2
Open the back cover of your phone if the previous methods were unsuccessful. Examine the back panel of the lid, usually in the place where they write "made in …" there is a small sticker on which the date of manufacture is placed. If it is missing, proceed to the next step.
Step 3
Remove the battery of your mobile device. Examine the battery itself, make sure that this information is not on it. If it wasn't there, take a close look at the back of the phone. The date of manufacture in this place can be written without dashes, without dots and without any other separating marks, so be careful.
Step 4
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your mobile device model and contact the support service with your question, if other methods have not yielded results. You will be asked to give either the serial number or other information that is located on the battery or the back of the phone. Write off the data and send it in a response letter to the center, within 1-2 days your request will be processed and you will be informed of the date of manufacture of your device.
