Step 1
When using the air conditioner, pay attention to symptoms that may directly or indirectly indicate that the device needs service. In most cases, prophylaxis is also required when the device starts to cool the room weakly.

Check if warm air is coming out of the device, if the radiator of the indoor unit is freezing. Sometimes traces of freezing can appear on the nuts of this block. An indicator that should be considered when servicing is the appearance of an unpleasant odor from the air conditioner.
Step 3
To prevent malfunctioning of the air conditioner, always remember to maintain the temperature in which the unit can operate. Eliminate the maximum modes, which especially quickly disable the device.
Step 4
Periodically clean the filter of the indoor unit, which protects the radiator from dust. If the room is very dusty, install special gaskets in the indoor unit to make the filtration finer.
Step 5
To clean the filter of the indoor unit, rinse it under a moderate jet of warm water. Carry out this procedure at least once every two weeks, and if the dustiness in the room is higher than normal, then even more often.
Step 6
If the rules for operating the air conditioner specified in the technical manual are violated, the drainage system may become clogged and water leakage may occur. Heat exchange with the radiator also deteriorates, ice appears on it. Therefore, always make sure that the air conditioner is not operated without a filter. Otherwise, the device will have to be returned to the service department for repair.
Step 7
Maintenance of the external unit of the device, as well as the complete prevention of the air conditioning system, requires qualifications. Therefore, be sure to conclude a contract for the maintenance of the system with a specialized organization. Preventive work is usually carried out twice a year.
