In January 2015, one of the most popular mobile messengers, the cross-platform WhatsApp application, finally became available on ordinary computers. The developers have released a special web client for users of the Chrome browser. However, a mobile device is still required to connect to the messenger on a computer.
Necessary
Chrome browser
Instructions
Step 1
You can only use the PC version of WhatsApp if you own an Android, Blackberry or Whindows Phone.
Step 2
First of all, connect to the network and update WhatsApp on your mobile device. The latest version of the software must be installed, otherwise you will not be able to pair.
Step 3
Go to the official website web.whatsapp.com and open the app on your smartphone. You don't need to download any programs, no native client installations are required. You will see a QR code on the monitor.
Step 4
To log into your account on the PC version, go to WhatsApp Web mode. You will be prompted to scan the QR code displayed on the computer screen. Do it - nothing else is required, no logins, no passwords. QR is the safest and cheapest way to access your account. If desired, click the "stay logged in" checkbox. All is ready.
Step 5
Please note that you can only use the web version through the Google Chrome browser, so if you are used to using a different one, you will have to download this one.
