Step 1
If there is information about an unread message on the screen of your phone, unlock the keyboard (depending on the model of the device, this can be pressing the "*", "c" or other key) and press the button associated with the command to enter the menu.
If there is only one message, it will open immediately. If there are several of them, you will be taken to your inbox and you can read everything one by one in any order you choose.
To do this, use the keyboard (arrows "up" and "down" or other keys depending on the phone) to select a message and press the key to enter the menu and select commands.

If your phone does not provide the ability to enter directly into a message or folder, if there are several of them, or you accidentally pressed the hang-up key (after that, entering directly into the message or folder is not available), open the menu and select the section for sms. Usually it is indicated by text (SMS or the same letters in Latin, messages, etc.) and open it.
Step 3
Then select, if the phone model assumes a choice between sms and mms, a subsection for sms, open it, and in it - a folder for incoming messages.
Step 4
Open the folder, select the message of interest and open it by pressing the key to enter the menu and its sections.
The message text will appear on your screen.
