The "Theater" mode allows owners of modern video cards to display video recording in full screen mode on an additional display, leaving the main one available for other actions. In this case, there are problems with the operation of the mode in the Windows Seven operating system.

Instructions

Step 1

Download and install Media Player Classic HomeCinema in order to be able to display full-screen images on an additional monitor connected to your computer using the “Theater” mode. You can also use a TV.

Step 2

Start playback and press the Alt + Tab key combination in full screen mode, after which the image will be transferred to the second display. When you hover the mouse over the player icon located on the taskbar of the Windows operating system, the playback control buttons will be available to you. A significant disadvantage of such a system is the inability to view video on the main display.

Step 3

Install VLC video player on your computer. Start playback of the recording, and then go to the advanced settings in the menu of the open program. Select "All" and go to the video menu. Find the filter options and in the video output filter module select the "Clone" option.

Step 4

On the advanced settings tab of the program, check the box for full-screen output and uncheck the overlay. Uncheck the boxes for skipping late frames and skipping frames. In the window coordinates settings, specify the axis parameters so that the image is displayed on the TV. After applying the parameters and restarting the player, you will be able to view in two windows, but control will remain in only one of them, in the main one.

Step 5

Please note that the Theater function must be enabled when you start watching the video in multiscreen mode. This is done in the ATI Catalyst configuration menu. Just run it from the Quick Access Toolbar to the System Elements running in the background (it is installed along with the video card driver), and then go to the programmatic organization of the view.
