Step 1

After that, wait until the system has finished reading the information. Review the data regarding the files, folders and the amount of information contained in this storage medium. The same applies to external hard drives, memory cards and so on.

In order to read information regarding the statistics of your mobile phone's memory, go to its main menu in the file manager and select the type of memory you are interested in - external (removable storage) or internal (phone memory).

After that, select properties from the context menu and view information on the volume occupied by the files. You can also do this by connecting your phone to your computer using a special cable that comes with your mobile device. Sometimes this is only available from the bundled software menu.

To read information from media, the connector for which is not provided in your computer, use special adapters. You can purchase them in the stores of household and computer equipment in your city, as well as order in various online stores. The same is true for hardware that has a physical memory module inside. Usually, modern devices have special wires in their configuration for connecting to the USB interface of a computer or to its other ports.
Step 6
Pay attention to the main menu of the device whose information you want to read. It is possible that its menu provides a program that displays service and system information. Also, check the Internet for available programs for this purpose.
