It happens that the TV receiver shows the picture extremely indistinctly. The reason lies in the poor reception of the signal. In most cases, the problem is solved with a new antenna.
Instructions
Step 1
Order a connection to DTV standard television or ask your friends or acquaintances for a coupon, if required. In our country, this procedure is usually avoided.
Step 2
Find two 0.5 liter aluminum cans. You can use a container of beer or kvass. It is advisable to wash the jars. They are ideal for intercepting signals in the 300 MHz to 3 GHz range. The main thing is to connect them in the right way.
Step 3
Cut off about one third of each jar - this should be enough for a good signal. At the same time, you can use the entire jars if you do not want unnecessary complications. Try it.
Step 4
Tie a wire to each jar. It can be screwed with its bare part to the key of the jar. The problem with connecting the cable to the cans is that the key comes off the cans very easily. Therefore, wrap a wire around the screw and screw it into the jar, or make a hole in the jar. In this case, the cable length must be more than 3 meters. It is best to use a dedicated TV cable. Cut off the soft shell from it and peel off the shielding braid and the protective layer.
Step 5
Find a plastic or heavy cardboard tube. Place the cans in it so that they hold tightly. As a last resort, cans can be glued. Make a hole in the middle of the tube where you pass the wires connected to the jars. Jars can also be attached to a clothes hanger or stick. The main thing is that they are on the same line. Calculate the distance between the banks by experience. It all depends on the size of the cans and the distance from the television transmitter.
Step 6
Connect the wires to the antenna connector. Make sure that the braid wire does not fall into the connection point - this will drastically worsen the signal level. The antenna is ready, now you need to install it so that the signal is as strong as possible. Connect the aerial plug to the TV receiver.
