As everyone knows, a PDA without software installed on it is of little use, and all its "chips" cannot be revealed. And in order to install software on your PDA, you need to know what to upload and where. All this is quite easy, but not everyone knows it.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step to overcome the problem is very simple.
First, you need to find out what type of file you downloaded for your PDA.
PDA software can be of several types:
- It can be an.exe file that is automatically installed.
- This can be an installation file, which in turn unpacks the program directly to the root of your PDA (.cab).
- It can also be a program that does not require subsequent installation.
Step 2
If you downloaded the installation file (.cab) unpacked on your PDA, you need to do the following:
- Copy the cab file from your personal computer to your PDA, to any place convenient for you. (If you have already uploaded the file to your PDA, then we, accordingly, skip this step.)
- Using any explorer or regular file manager, find the downloaded file and run it.
- If your PDA has a flash card, then when choosing where the program will be installed, select the flash card or phone memory, and then click the "Install" button.
Step 3
If you have a package with a program that is installed directly from your PC, you need to take the following steps:
- Connect your Pocket PC to your computer and synchronize it with ActiveSync.
- Run the file you want on your PC, then follow the step-by-step instructions on your screen. At the end, a window will appear, which will inform you that you need to install the program already on the PDA.
Step 4
If you come across a program that does not require installation, you just need to copy it to a folder on your PDA and enjoy its work.
