Most phones have a security code as a precaution. Locking with a security code can apply to messages, phone book, personal files, or prevent the phone from turning on in principle. There are frequent cases when the security code is forgotten by the owner of the phone. In this case, you need to follow a few simple guidelines.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to contact the technical support of your cell phone manufacturer. Using the search engine, find the contacts you can contact and request codes for resetting the firmware or resetting the factory settings. In order to verify a phone, you need its IMEI number. You can find it out by dialing * # 06 # or by opening the back of the phone and removing the battery. Please note that using the firmware reset code will result in the loss of all personal data, use it only as a last resort.
Step 2
Reflash your phone. To do this, you will need a data cable, drivers for your computer, software for synchronization and flashing, as well as the factory firmware of your phone. You can find many different firmware versions, but the factory version is the best option, since it does not contain additional elements that can affect the stability of its operation. Install the drivers on the computer, then connect the phone and make sure that the firmware "sees" it. Remember that when flashing, all personal data will be lost. Only start the process with a full battery charge. Follow the instructions carefully.
Step 3
If the phone is locked, and you know the security code, but you are afraid to find it, disconnect the device. Depending on the manufacturer and phone model, the location of this option may vary, but it is best to search in such phone menu items as "Security" and "Settings". Find the menu item responsible for the internal phone code, then disable the security code. To confirm this operation, you will be required to enter the existing code. Save your changes by clicking "OK" or "Save".
