Cell phones of "Nokia" company, like other phones of well-known brands, are often counterfeited. However, there are several easy ways to find out if your phone is real or not.

Step 1
Use the internet to find a detailed description of your phone model. The best option would be to search for a review with photos and videos, so you can examine the device in the most detail from the point of view of a possible fake. There should be no differences in principle - the screen resolution, menu items, color and shape of the case, camera, as well as all other functions should be the same both technically and visually.
Step 2
Behind the back cover of the phone, under the battery, there should be a RosTest sticker, as well as a sticker of compliance with communication standards. If they are absent, then this is a sufficient basis for suspicion that your phone was either imported into the territory of Russia illegally or is a fake.
Step 3
Turn off your phone and remove the back cover from it. The IMEI number of the phone will be located under the batteries. Rewrite it, then put the battery back in place and close the lid. Turn on the phone, then enter the combination * # 06 # on the keyboard. Compare the displayed numbers with those that you wrote down. If they match, then your phone is original, otherwise it is a fake.
Step 4
Go to the website www.nokia.com. Find your Nokia Care contact and contact them to check your IMEI number. You can either call them on the specified contacts, or, which is more reliable, write them an email. Please note that the IMEI number is located behind the battery.
