Many Explay mobile phones have a flashlight function. There is no single way to turn it on, it all depends on the model of the device. Some mobile phones use a camera flash as a flashlight, while others have a separate LED.

Instructions

Step 1

Explay has phone models with large buttons (for example, BM10, BM50), similar in design to Just5 devices. Any of these mobile phones do not have a camera, and therefore a flash, and the flashlight LED is located on the top wall. To turn it on, find the light switch on the side wall and move the lever up. To turn off the flashlight, move the same lever down. Do not confuse this switch with another similar switch that allows you to block the keyboard. These switches work independently of each other: you can control the flashlight even when the keyboard is locked.

Step 2

The next group of models is classic, with standard-sized keys, camera, browser, etc. A typical example of such a device is the Explay SL240. These phones have a camera flash LED as a flashlight. To turn on the light, unlock the keyboard and then press the center button of the joystick and then hold it until this LED turns on. Disable it in the same way. Instead of the center key of the joystick, you can use a key with a zero.

Step 3

In some firmware versions, even of the same models, instead of this method of turning on and off the flashlight, a different one is provided. If it was not possible to turn on the flashlight using the previous method, exit all menus to the main screen, then press the lower key of the joystick (as on basic Nokia models). The flash LED will turn on. The next press on the same key will turn it off.

Step 4

The third group of Explay devices is made up of smartphones based on the Android platform. If you own one of them, open the list of applications and find the pre-installed Flashlight program. If not, download one of the flash LED control programs (for example, Tiny Flashlight) from the Play Store. When choosing an application, make sure that it does not require permission to make calls and send SMS, and if your data transfer is not unlimited, then access to the Internet. After downloading, check it with the antivirus installed on your smartphone.
