No matter how you take care of your mobile phone, scratches may appear on it. This is, of course, unpleasant. You can put up with damage to the phone display and move on, especially since they are usually only visible in the sun. You can ask for help at the service center - your phone screen will be completely replaced. You can fix the scratches yourself by using home polishing.

Necessary

  • - suede cloth;
  • - paste GOI;
  • - means for removing scratches from CD / DVD discs;
  • - cotton pads, cotton swabs and wet wipes.

Instructions

Step 1

Replacing a mobile phone screen from a specialist costs money, and significant money - if you change the touchscreen, then the repair service can be about 50% of the cost of a new phone. It should be said right away that this is the most reliable repair method. If you don't want to pay to have your phone's display replaced at a service center, go for a home repair.

Step 2

Polishing the display is not difficult, but quite dangerous for the phone itself. The essence of polishing is to erase the top layer of the display. If you accidentally touch the anti-reflective coating or touchscreen, you will have to contact the service center.

Step 3

Before you start polishing, disassemble the phone and remove the screen so that you do not clog the entire phone with dirt while cleaning the top layer. Remove various dirt from the phone screen. This should be done with a damp cloth or cell phone surface cleaner.

Step 4

There are several ways to polish your display:

- using suede - the procedure is long and does not eliminate all scratches;

- with GOI paste - there is a large number of its applications (with a polishing machine, with a cloth, with machine oil, etc.). The long-awaited result will delight you and there will be no trace of scratches;

- with a tool that removes scratches on CD / DVD discs - the most effective way of polishing: all scratches will be removed quickly and easily, but after a month or two the procedure will have to be repeated, because old scratches will still appear.

Step 5

After finishing polishing, gently wipe off any remaining polish with cotton swabs and sticks. Buy a cover for your phone - this will save your mobile phone from possible mechanical damage. A protective film can reliably protect your mobile phone from scratches on the display. It is put on the phone from the moment of purchase or after polishing.
