Is the antenna on your mobile phone too weak and you are not satisfied with the signal reception? This happens if you live in a rural area far from the repeater. Or - if you live in a city, but nearby high-rise buildings partially extinguish the signal. The situation will help to correct the usual car antenna, raised above the roof of your house. The antenna can be made with your own hands.

Necessary

  • - pliers or a regular knife
  • -pliers
  • -soldering iron with solder
  • -a piece of TV antenna cable
  • -a piece of any copper wire
  • -Chinese (or not so) mobile phone adapter

Instructions

Step 1

Take a crimping pliers or a regular knife, pliers, a soldering iron with solder, a piece of TV antenna cable, a piece of any copper wire, a Chinese (or not so) mobile phone adapter (you can buy it on the market for 200-300 rubles), a little patience and five to ten minutes of free time.

Step 2

Use a knife to strip the end of the antenna cable. See, there is a "core" in the center, and copper braid on the sides? Be careful not to damage the sheath or core when stripping. You will need the other end of the cable to connect to a telephone set.

Step 3

Arm yourself with a soldering iron and any diameter copper wire 8, 2 cm long. Solder the copper wire to the core. Try to solder so that the whole structure does not fall apart from the breeze. The wire soldered to the core should be vertical and “facing” up. Solder the exact same wire to the sheath of the antenna cable. The wire soldered to the braid must point straight down.

Step 4

Fasten both wires to a wooden base to give the structure strength and rigidity, insulate the places where the wires are soldered to the antenna cable.

Step 5

Pay particular attention not to touch the core and the braid or wires soldered to them. If they close, your phone may fail.

Step 6

Fix a wooden base with copper wires on the roof of the house, as high as possible, and connect the opposite end of the antenna cable to your telephone set using an adapter adapter

Step 7

When fastening, once again pay attention to the fact that the copper wires are located vertically, and the cable connected to them is horizontal at the junction.
