HTC is a popular Taiwanese manufacturer of communicators and tablets. Owners of HTC phones have the ability to set different melodies for incoming calls.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are using a simple HTC cell phone or a communicator based on the Android mobile platform, go to the main menu of the device and select "Settings". In it, open the "Sound Settings" item. Scroll down the page and stop at the Ringtone option. Click on it and select one of the preinstalled ringtones or MP3 music files from your personal collection. You can do the same actions with the "Reminder melody" parameter and select a ringtone for incoming SMS messages and reminders of events in the calendar. If you use an HTC communicator based on Windows Mobile, you can change the ringtone in the "Melodies - sounds" section of the settings.
Step 2
You can use the Play Market application (on Android devices) or Windows Phone Store (on Windows Mobile devices), which is located in the main menu by default and allows you to purchase audio tracks for free or for a small amount of money, which will be available for listening or installing on a call. Make sure your internet connection is active on your phone and go to the music section of the app. Select the track you like and download to your phone. Now it will be available when you select a melody in the settings.
Step 3
Also, owners of HTC mobile devices can transfer music tracks to their phone from a computer. To do this, connect your communicator to your computer using a USB connection. Please note that your phone must have a miniature memory card installed to act as storage for user files. Wait until the computer's operating system detects the device as an external storage medium. Now you can copy the files you need to the memory card, the directory of which will be available in the "My Computer" folder.
