The reason is simple: non-observance of the elementary rules of inspection when purchasing. Meanwhile, it is easy to check the "plasma" before and even during the purchase.

An ordinary consumer often calls both plasma panels and plasma TVs simply "plasma", in spite of the mass of differences between these two devices. If you turned on the plasma you just bought, but you do not see the image, hear no sound, or cannot find the antenna connector at all, you may not have purchased what you wanted. Plasma TV is a device equipped with speakers, a TV tuner, and everything that TV viewers are used to seeing in their talking boxes. A plasma display panel is essentially a separate monitor that performs the same tasks as a personal computer monitor. The first step in testing "plasma" is always defining concepts.

If you have not yet purchased the "plasma", then think about how to transport it to the apartment. If the delivery is carried out by a store, then it makes sense to organize an urgent delivery or even do it yourself - there are often cases when, instead of a working device, a defective model of a similar brand is brought to the address from the warehouse.

It is not recommended to immediately connect the newly delivered device to the power supply if the temperature outside the window is below zero. Due to the temperature difference, condensation forms inside the "plasma" housing, which can lead to breakdown of the entire system.
Step 4
Check the delivered box with the purchased device for mechanical damage and packaging integrity. In the presence of torn holes, crumpled corners or stained cardboard, the buyer has the right to refuse to accept the paid product and demand to replace it.

It is necessary to check the unpacked device before signing the act of acceptance of the goods. To do this, it is necessary to warn the sales assistant in advance about the need to delay the courier for about thirty to forty minutes. The first step of home analysis of the "plasma" after unpacking is to check for the presence of all the necessary documentation: operating instructions, warranty card, device passport, sales receipt indicating all store data. Then follows a comparison of the marking indicated in the passport of the goods with the data indicated on the device itself.

Check the completeness of the goods in accordance with the description or even a hand-drawn diagram available with any passport of the device. After that, it is necessary to visually check the surface of the picture tube for obvious irregularities or cracks.
Step 7
If in appearance everything corresponds to the standards, you can connect the device to the network. After that, it is necessary to check its operating time in the service menu of the device in accordance with the user's manual. The resource, for example, of a modern plasma panel is 60,000 hours of operation. The operating time of the sold device should not exceed two to three hours.
Step 8
Finally, a plasma panel or plasma TV is a mosaic of tiny pixels. It is necessary to visually check the performance of each of them by examining a working device with a single-color picture on the screen. If there is not a single “broken” pixel among the pixels, you can safely sign the store's invoice and let the courier go.
